Sung Mi is a licensed acupuncturist in Maryland and Virginia and a NCCAOM (National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine) certified acupuncturist since 2006. She is also a certified Chinese Herbalist and a NCCAOM diplomat of Oriental medicine. She received a Master of Acupuncture degree at Maryland University of Integrative Health (MUIH, formerly the Tai Sophia Institute) in 2006 and certification for Chinese Herbology at the same school in 2008. Prior to studying acupuncture, She received Bachelor of Science and Master of Science from Seoul National University in Seoul, South Korea. Her practice strongly specialized for woman's care including pregnancy, fertility, post-partum care and Menopause. She also has trained and experienced well to treat various kinds of body pain, digestive issues, insomnia, anxiety and allergy. TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) and pattern diagnosis are the main background of her practice and she often uses and combines Five elements, Korean Saam technique, Dr. Tung's Taiwanese technique, Dr. Tan's balance method and scalp acupuncture for effective treatment. She loves to research on the Oriental Medicine as well as teaching. Moreover, She appreciates, everyday, every moment, the presence of her patients and the moment of being with them. She is fully motivated to work, to learn and to help others with compassion and enthusiasm at Four Leaf Wellness, the healing place she designed. Sung-Ah R. Seo, M.Ac, L.Ac, BSN, RN

Sung-Ah is a licensed acupuncturist in Maryland since 2007 and has worked as a registered nurse at hospitals and medical centers in California and Maryland as well as South Korea. She received Bachelor degree in Nursing at Korea University in South Korea and Master degree in Acupuncture at Maryland University of Integrative Health (MUIH, formerly the Tai Sophia Institute) in 2007. She was also certified in the Nurse Refresher course at Montgomery College in 2009. She had long professional experience as a registered nurse at St. Francis X cabrini Hospital, Potomac Valley Nursing Home, Walter Reed Army Medical Center and Suburban Hospital. She provides professional acupuncture services at her personal practice, Serenity Acupuncture in Germantown since 2007.
